Afterwards, we dined at Prego with Elaine and Peggy. We first met Elaine and Peggy during the 2012 World Cruise. Elaine also sailed on the 2013 and 2014 World Cruise and Peggy sailed on the 2014 World Cruise. Over the past years we have dined together at the Crystal Dining Room on more than one occasion, at Tastes and at Prego, and this is the first time the four of us have been together at Prego.

As usual, we were taken great care of by the wonderful Prego Wait Staff team under the direction of Specialty Restaurant Maitre d' Antonio. Our waiter was Costa and our Sommelier was Jiri and between the two of them and Head Waiter Slavko we were in good hands.
We wanted to mention that similar to Silk Road the waiters work very closely with each other. There will be times that Costa will help another nearby waiter or other times when another waiter near Costa's station will help him. Examples might include coming around the table with rolls, or clearing dishes. It is all about teamwork.
Dinner was great. We skipped the appetizer and each had salads and then Anne Marie had Veal for her entree and Keith had the Bronzino fish. For dessert, we each had a fruit plate.
We laughed quite a lot throughout the meal as we greatly enjoyed the company of Elaine and Peggy.
After dinner, the four of us went to the Cruise Critic Meet & Mingle Party. Surprisingly, it was not very well attended by those who signed up for the party from Cruise Critic, although Crystal had many senior members of the crew and officers in attendance. Likely some of this was because people already had reservations at Specialty Restaurants at times that conflicted with the get together and some might just decided that there was no one new to meet as the vast majority of those on board are on the full World Cruise. We still had a nice time and spoke with some fellow guests and also others such as Cruise Director Gary Hunter.
We slept very well last evening as we continue to sail to our next port of call.
Keith was up early and worked out at the Fitness Center.
Afterwards, he was back at the Lido Cafe for coffee and to read and write.
Anne Marie enjoyed coffee in the room and then she walked for an hour.
We had breakfast in our room as we watched the daily morning show with Gary. Stacey had the morning off. Gary had Neil the Manager of the Photo Studio on the show to talk about the World Cruise Photo Book available for purchase.
Anne Marie attended Yoga and didn't make it to the Knitting Class this morning.
Keith ended up playing three hours of Paddle Tennis. It had rained earlier in the morning and since it cleared up Keith played with some of the fellow guests and given that there is a chance of showers all day long he kept playing. He played with Christy, Christine, Lisa, Brook and Bob from Ohio and Bob from Atlanta. There are a lot of Bob's on board.
There were several lectures on the schedule including:
Michael McManus who spoke about the drug world of our children. He gave a lot of good pointers and advice for both Parents and Grand Parents in terms of dealing with children and grandchildren.
Next up was Ken Rees who spoke about the amazon and the ports of call that we are visiting.
In the afternoon, Thomas Lippman spoke about the next Middle East War and what not to expect.
We caught each of the lectures when they were rebroadcast throughout the day on one of the Crystal Television Channels.
We had lunch at the Lido Cafe and then Anne Marie walked and Keith played more Paddle Tennis.
Initially, Keith played with Ray and two of the officers from the Engineering Department and after Ray left to go get lunch another officer joined in. When the officers left it was at the time that Bob and Leon from Atlanta joined in along with Keith and Ray.
Midway through that game, something happened similar to what happened a couple of months ago. The ball hit off Keith's racket on a return and hit his sunglasses and pushed them closer to his face so he has a cut on the left area above his nose near the eye brow. The good news is since that accident where a tennis ball went off the racket and hit him in his left eye he has been wearing sunglasses each time he plays. If not for the sunglasses the ball might have hit the same eye. On a related note, earlier in the afternoon a tennis ball hit Ray in an area where he went down for about 30 seconds. He is fine and Keith's cut will heal in a few days. Just a reminder that accidents can occur.
Later in the afternoon, Keith met up with dear friend Bob and a couple of other guests and Anne Marie worked on her knitting.
This evening we will be back in the Crystal Dining Room with a couple of guests.
