Afterwards, the two of us dined at Prego.
Prego had been very busy the past several days, but last evening that was not the case. We suspect that is because some people were dining in Buenos Aires on their own, while some people went to Tango Shows and some people were on evening tours and also on overlands. We have done Tango shows on two occasions; once when sailing on another luxury line and once when sailing on the 2007 World Cruise.
We enjoyed the service, ambience and cuisine at Prego.
Our waiter for the evening was Costa and Head Waiter, Slavko, along with Specialty Restaurant Maitre d' Antonio checked up on us and our Sommelier was Jiri. This is a fantastic professional team who really makes our dining experience so very much enjoyable. We say it often and that is that we enjoy the traditional dining experience that Prego offers. It has "old world" charm and that appeals to us. When we dine on land, this would be our preference but it is not always possible and we just don't find the complete package on land to be comparable to the dining experience in venues such as those on board Serenity. You might fine on individual component to be better on land, but to us it is very difficult to find the complete package as we do here on board Serenity.

We each began our meal with the additional salad. This was one of two additional items in addition to the regular menu. You could have it as a Salad Entree or as a starter Salad and we chose to have it as our the starter Salad. It included salad, one Shrimp, Artichoke and Mixed Greens and the dressing included Artichokes. As we always do, we had the dressing on the side.
For our entree Anne Marie had the Veal and Keith had the Striped Bass.

We both had a side order of Grilled Vegetables. There was enough for a table of eight.
The on-board entertainment featured a local performance of the Argentine Tango. It is very nice that this was offered for those guests such as ourselves staying on board.
We slept fairly well last evening. There was no gentle rocking of the ship as we were docked in the Buenos Aires Benito Quinquela Martin Cruise Terminal. This is an industrial port with an amazing number of Cargo Containers. They must use chips to identify where each cargo container resides as there are so many of each company scatters all throughout the pier.
We had breakfast in our room and then got ready to enjoy a second day in Buenos Aires. We had wonderful weather. Although this is Fall, the weather was more like late Summer weather and it was not too hot and not cold and as they say just right for us.
There is so much to do and see in Buenos Aires. Whether you are visiting Buenos Aires for the first time or have been there before one of the highlights is a visit to the Recoleta which has the look and feel of a city but rather is a city to remember the dead.
There is an area at the entrance that helps with the research of those bodies that have been laid to rest at Recoleta
The Evita Peron Museum.
You can see beautiful statues all around Buenos Aires similar to what you might see in the cities of Spain and Italy or others throughout Europe.
We enjoyed lunch back on the ship and stayed on the ship for the remainder of the day. We had our usual Salad Entrees.
Keith played Paddle Tennis in the afternoon for a couple of hours and also worked out at the Fitness Center, and Anne Marie walked for a long time and then worked on her knitting.
Later in the afternoon, Keith got together with dear friend Bob and another guest.
