Last evening, we enjoyed dinner at Prego. We returned again only a couple of days before we last dined at Prego for our last dinner with Waiter Marija and Head Waiter Mario who are leaving today for a well-deserved Holiday. Maria and Mario will be returning in Lisbon on May 17 so we will see both when they return.
We enjoyed another terrific dinner at Prego. Marija took wonderful care of us as did Sommelier Jiri and Mario and Specialty Restaurant Maitre d' Antonio checked up on us from time to time.

We began our meal with salad and then for our entree we each had one of the additional entrees which was Sea Bass, topped with Lobster. It was delicious and serves nice and hot.

After dinner we walked outside on the Promenade Deck and we also walked inside the ship. We saw some crew members who will be departing today and wished them our very best. This was also the case today as we saw some members of the crew who were leaving for some well deserved holidays such as the Assistant Executive Chef, Werner, whom we have known for several years. We will see in on the May 17 voyage.
We slept very well last evening and there was no gentle rocking of the ship as we remained docked in Fremantle. Maybe it is that wine that helps.
Keith was up first and enjoyed a nice workout at the Fitness Center. He stopped by the Lido Cafe for coffee and to read and write before bringing some coffee back to the room for Anne Marie. Anne Marie then went on a walk before we had breakfast in the room thanks to Rao.
Today is turnaround day for Serenity as the Auckland, Melbourne to Fremantle/Perth, Australia segment of the World Cruise comes to an end and the Freemantle/Perth, Australia to Cape Town, South Africa segment of the World Cruise begins.
During the course of the just completed segment, we sailed a total distance of 5,029.5 nautical miles or the equivalent of 5,783 miles.

We then got ready to take another walk into Fremantle.
We spent the entire morning walking all around Fremantle and had a terrific time taking in all of the beautiful sights that were all around us. This is what makes travel so very interesting.
We were off the ship before 8:00 AM. The weather was overcast but that was good. The high's today were not as high as yesterday. We walked along the coast and towards the Yacht Club. There are an incredible number of Yachts and other vessels at the Yacht Club and at an adjacent area. We continued to walk the perimeter of the town and then we walked back towards the middle of town around the Ferris Wheel.
Many of the school age children you see around town are in school uniforms.
Each and every Friday, the town has an indoor market and we want to that. It included produce and vegetables, meats, and other food items, clothing, shoes and other related items, souvenirs, hand made items, including some that were very unique.
During our walk in town we passed a Hotel where several crew members were staying before they boarded Serenity today. It included Albert and Sheila from Silk Road and Morely (sp) from Prego.
We also stopped by the knitting shop where Anne Marie purchased some items yesterday for one final look-see.
When we returned back to the ship we had lunch in the Crystal Dining Room. We try to do this on embarkation day or in this case turn around day. We toasted the start of this segment of the World Cruise and our love for one another with a flute of Champagne and we also had our Traditional Cobb Salad.
In the afternoon, Keith worked out at the Fitness Center and then met up with dear friend Bob, and Anne Marie walked for an hour and also worked on her knitting projects.
Afterwards, we will dine at the Crystal Dining Room.
