We then dined at the Crystal Dining Room. It was fairly quiet as many guest were either attending the Opera or dining in Sydney.

We had two courses. We each had salads and for our we had pasta and seafood. We enjoyed both of these courses. For dessert it was strawberries for Keith and Melon for Anne Marie.
When we arrived back to our room after dinner, there was a writeup that we received which went to all guests. It noted that NYK who owns Crystal Cruises announced that it has entered into an agreement with with Genting Hong Kong (GHK) under which Crystal Cruises will be acquired by GHK. It is expected that the acquisition will close by the end of the second quarter of this year. It was also noted that the Crystal Fleet will grow and subsequently more information has been announced that a new ship will be placed in service in 2018.
About two weeks ago we all learned in a letter from the World Cruise Hostess that the President of Crystal Cruises, Edie Rodriquez and also the Executive Vice President of Fleet Operations, Thomas Mazloum would be on board in a few days for their annual visit to the World Cruise. A question and answer session had already been scheduled for March 7 in the morning and we are sure that this item along with one or more items of interest will be covered in great deal during the talk and also in the question and answer session that will follow remarks that are given. As they say timing is everything so this is perfect timing for Edie and Thomas to be visiting Serenity and we look forward to seeing them on board Serenity.
Afterwards, we both took a nice walk on the Promenade Deck and took in the beauty of the city. It was a wonderful night and the temperature was perfect. We love Sydney and enjoyed a wonderful day in this beautiful city.
Serenity left Sydney at around Midnight. We slept very well as we are now sailing to our next port of call in Melbourne.
We began the day as we always do. Keith was up first and enjoyed another nice workout at the Fitness Center. He was able to catch Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu address to Congress. Afterwards, he had coffee at the Lido Cafe as he read and wrote.
Anne Marie walked for about 30 minutes and then we had breakfast in our room a little earlier than normal as Keith went to the salon. While Keith was having his haircut Anne Marie finished up her walk.
Anne Marie also took Yoga and attended the Knitting get together.
Later in the morning Keith attended Ocean Views. It was hosted by Ken Rees and included Howard Fineman, Robin Oakley and Sir Roger Carrick. Keith always enjoyed Ocean Views as it provides a nice opportunity to provide feedback and to see what others think.
As part of Ocean Views, a question is asked with three or four answers and the guests get to vote with an interactive device. Then the panelists discuss the item and the guests vote again to see whether or not the discussion resulted in them changing their minds.

While there was a special Viennese Brunch Buffet, we both had lunch at the Lido Cafe and we each made salad entrees.
In the afternoon, Keith played Paddle Tennis while Anne Marie walked for an hour.
A short while later Keith met up with dear Friend Bob and Anne Marie worked on her knitting projects.
We will be back in the Crystal Dining Room for the second consecutive night.
During his talk from the Bridge, Captain Giske said later this evening that there would be gale force winds so we plan to put wine bottles on the couch.
