We began our evening by going to the Crystal Cove for pre-dinner drinks. We spoke with some crew members and either will see them in July or if they are leaving we wished them a great holiday such as Butler Jason who we saw while we were in the Crystal Plaza.
From there we dined at Silk Road. We thought the Crystal Dining Room would be noisy and since we just were at Prego the other evening we decided to go with Silk Road. Cruise Director Rick joined us for dinner.
We were seated at our table by Head Waiter Sigi and then Waiter Albert took care of us. Albert had pre-ordered a few items for us and then we ordered the remaining items.
Anne Marie and Rick use forks, unlike Keith who does use Chop Sticks.
This was a special for this evening. We can't remember the name that Albert used for this special, but it is made with a fish similar to Red Snapper. Keith was the only one at our table adventurous enough to try it and of course he liked it as he does most other Sashimi.
The two of us shared this platter although the reality is Keith had it all except for the Shrimp Tempura Roll (it has the white rice around it) that Anne Marie had.

In addition to the items above we had a couple of other sushi items that we didn't take photos of and the two of us each had the Mushroom Salad, and Anne Marie had Lobster and Keith had Hot Soba Noodles with Soup for our entrees. For dessert it was fruit plate.
When we got back to our room, we put the final items in our suitcases and then placed them outside our room. The majority of luggage we are shipping home and a couple of pieces we will take with us to Rome and then onward as we make our way home. We spoke with Stewardess Lunghar who has not only taken care of us this year but also took care of us in 2014. She has been terrific.
We opened up the Bottle of Champagne that we received on embarkation day, December 21, 2014. We have been on board Serenity for 161 days but never touched that bottle. Now that is what we call will power. Just kidding. Well, NOT.
We slept well last evening as we sailed to our final port of call stop which is the port of Civitavecchia, Italy located about 90 minutes from downtown Rome.
During this voyage we sailed from Lisbon, Portugal to Civitavecchia/Rome, Italy and travel a distance of 2,236 nautical miles or the equivalent of 2,571 land miles.
We boarded Crystal Serenity on December 21, 2014 and we were on board for our longest consecutive cruise ever of 10 voyages totaling 161 days on-board Serenity. Trust us when we say we enjoyed every minute of it. We never took a moment of it for granted and as we mentioned when we opened the blog, we focus on all of the good and we overlook those few things that do not go our way.

Keith was up first but no workout this morning. He went to the Lido Cafe for coffee and to read and to write and he gave his best to the Lido Deck Stewards. Many of them will still be back on board when we return on July 25. While Keith was at the Cafe, Crystal Serenity was making its way to the Port of Civitavecchia and we arrive to the port before Keith left the Cafe for the final time of this voyage.
He brought back coffee to the room for Anne Marie and then we got ready for breakfast. Butler Almir came with our breakfast and we stayed with the same breakfast we have had most morning's which is oatmeal, banana and prunes for Keith. The irony is we began with Almir for the December Holiday Voyage and then had Almir on this last voyage. Almir will be on board for the voyage we will be on in late July, but Rao comes back then so we plan to have Rao.
We have come to know all of the Butlers that work on Serenity. We have that fruit in the afternoon at 3:00 PM and if Rao is off at that time then one of the other butlers brings the fruit down so it gives us an opportunity to get to know most of them.

We made our way to the Crystal Cove at around 9:00 AM to the designated area where we were asked to sit at which is directly across from the Concierge Desk. Cruise Director Rick was waiting for us and we gave our best to Rick. We also spoke with Crystal Dining Room Maitre d' Mario and Food & Beverage Manager Tayfun and a few other crew members.
Head Concierge Natalia met with us at the Cove and then she escorted us off the ship so we could claim our luggage. All of the luggage that we were sending home via Luggage Concierge had already been handed over to the representative by the Concierge while we were on the ship so we didn't have to deal with that.
The Head Concierge stayed with us the entire time until we were settled in the private van.
Head Concierge Natalia met with us at the Cove and then she escorted us off the ship so we could claim our luggage. All of the luggage that we were sending home via Luggage Concierge had already been handed over to the representative by the Concierge while we were on the ship so we didn't have to deal with that.

We then made the drive into Rome and were taken to a hotel called the Villa Spalletti Trivelli located in the heart of Rome. While we waited for our room to be ready we had some fruit and coffee.

We had lunch at the hotel. You can either eat inside or outside. We ate inside.

We then went on a nice long walk. We walked over to the Colosseum and then up and down several major roads and side streets.
This evening we will be dining at a restaurant located a short walk from the Hotel.
