Afterwards, we were back at the Crystal Dining Room for dinner for the last time of this voyage as our final night we will dine at Silk Road.
We have really enjoyed our wait-staff as we have mentioned from time-to-time.
We have had Head Waiter August since the third segment of the World Cruise and also enjoyed having Giuseppe and Bojan earlier in the cruise as our Head Waiters before Augusto returned to Serenity. We have had Senior Waiter Ayhan for the entire time and Waiter Jan for the past few months. We began with Javier as our Sommelier, then Ivanna for the entire World Cruise while Javier was on Holiday and then we ended with Javier when Ivanna went home for Holiday.
We have also enjoyed the Maitre d's starting with Mario who was the Maitre d' for the two voyages before the World Cruise, followed by Leo for the World Cruise and the crossing with Mario back on board for this final voyage.
While these are the team that we have enjoyed so very much there are literally dozens of other personnel in the dining room who have also made our time so very pleasurable whether they have greeted us at the entranceway, escorted Anne Marie to our table, or worked at the Lido Cafe for lunch and helped us with beverages and clearing our table. We say thank you to all of them.
Also, let us not forget the magnificent chefs and other personnel who work the galley some whom we know quite well such as Franz and Werner the Executive Chefs and Harald and Josef the Executive Pastry Chefs.
We each had salads and for our entree the salmon and then fruit for dessert. We were not very hungry given the lunch we had earlier in the day.
When we got back to the room, we did some additional packing.
We slept very well last evening as we continued to anchor off Sorrento.
Keith was up first and began today with his final morning workout of this journey and then went to the Lido Cafe for coffee and to read and write. Anne Marie was up next and took a one hour walk on board the ship before we had breakfast in our room.
We then took the tender and went back into Sorrento. We were on one of the earliest tenders and when we first arrived to Sorrento there were very few people walking around.
We made our way up top as we did yesterday which mean we walked up several different sets of steps, not just the ones in the following photos.
We then made our way over to the town square and then we walked for quite a while on main streets and the side streets.
About an hour after we took this photo side streets such as this one became full of people out and about. On the second floor of these buildings are apartments.

We arrived back to the ship for lunch and he our usual salad entree at the Lido Cafe.
In the afternoon, Anne Marie walked for an hour outside the ship and Keith played his final games of Paddle Tennis. He ended up playing singles the entire time which can be exhausting but the good news is when things go right you can take the credit.
We finished up most of the packing except for some items that we will pack from this evening.
This evening we will dine at Silk Road.
