Before dinner last evening we were back at the Crystal Cove for a pre-dinner drink. We sat with Olga who as we have mentioned is one of the ladies who now lives on-board Serenity.
Afterwards, we returned to the Crystal Dining Room for dinner. We were joined for dinner by on-board booking consultant Daniele. We were glad that schedules worked out so that Daniele could join us for dinner as our time on Serenity winds down.
The Dining Room was quiet again last night and that likely was due to many guests still being off the ship on tours such as returning from Florence when the Dining Room opened.
We each had salads to begin the meal.
Keith had his standing order salad and Anne Marie had the iceberg lettuce salad.
For our entree, we each and the Chilean Seabass from the Modern Cuisine Menu. Daniele also had the same entree too.
Head Waiter Augusto stopped by our table several times to check up on us and Food & Beverage Manager Tayfun came to our table as well.
Afterwards, we stopped by the Photo Studio.
We did get to sleep fairly early last night. Keith had very little sleep from the night before so he wanted to get to sleep earlier and although Anne Marie had more sleep than Keith it was still less than she normally sleeps so we both fell asleep easy.
Keith was up early and followed his normal routine of exercise and then coffee at the Lido Cafe while he read and wrote. Anne Marie got in a partial walk as we had breakfast to our room earlier than normal as we wanted to get ready to go into port.
We took the first tender over to Bonifacio. This was our first visit to this charming town. The population of this town is slightly less than 3,000 people.
There are two levels to this town and we first walked up to the upper level town. Some people took the tourist trolley train to get from the lower town to the upper town. The cost was $6.00 Euros per person each way.
We first walked up a roadway which was on a rather sharp incline. Eventually we made it to the upper town where we enjoyed stunning views of the surrounding area including the beautiful marina with many boats and yachts in town. We walked up and down the main and side streets where we visited three different churches, saw a home from the outside that Napoleon Bonaparte lived in, viewed some monuments including a monument to those who died in World War I from this town and saw many hotels, restaurants and shops.
We then walked down from the upper town to the lower town from the other end and then we walked for quite awhile along the Marina where we took in the great views of boats and yachts from that area and could smell baked goods such as breads as we walked by several places selling these items.
The weather was absolutely divine. We couldn't have asked for better weather.

When we arrived back to Serenity we saw Food & Beverage Manager Tayfun who was getting ready to take the Tender over to Play a round of Golf.
Once back on Serenity we went to Lunch at the Lido Cafe where we made our usual salad entrees.
In the afternoon, Keith played Paddle Tennis while Anne Marie walked and later we both read and wrote.
This evening we will dine at Prego with a special guest and this evening is also the Crystal Society Reception/Farewell Reception and a Black Tie Optional Evening.
It's been a great day. We really enjoyed Bonifacio.

Great photos of Anne Marie's surprise party. You both look great and so happy! What a lovely thing to do for her special birthday and how kind to host a party for the deserving crew. Almost coming to an end... Thank you for taking us along with you. It was great sharing a part of this voyage with you in person on board Serenity.
