DAY 153 SEA DAY & DAY 145 ON SERENITY

Before dinner last evening, we stopped by the Crystal Cove for a pre-dinner drink.  For part of the time, we sat with Olga who we have known for several years who is now living on Serenity.

Afterwards, we were back at the Crystal Dining Room for dinner.

With Portugal in mind, this bottle of red wine is from Portugal so we definitely got into the Portuguese spirit last evening.

We began our meal with Tuna Tartare for Keith which Augusto made and a Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail for Anne Marie.

For our second course we each had a salad.  Keith had his standing order salad and Anne Marie had one of the salads from the menu.

For our third course, we had Kosher Chicken which we had pre-ordered the day before with Augusto.

Augusto at work, carefully cutting the Kosher Chicken for us.

For the final time of this crossing we set the clocks forward one additional hour.  We do have to forward the clocks one more time on the next voyage but thankfully it will be one hour verses the many hours we have forwarded the clock on this voyage.

We slept well as we are now sailing to our final port of call on this voyage which is Lisbon.  The seas were relatively calm.

Keith was up first and enjoyed another nice workout at the Fitness Center.  Afterwards, he was back at the Lido Cafe for coffee and to read and write.  Before breakfast, Anne Marie walked for one hour.

After breakfast, Anne Marie walked again and Keith took another indoor cycle class.  This time, Fitness Director Chase taught the class.  We had six people taking the class; three of which including Keith have come to all of the classes.  This is the last class of this voyage.

Anne Marie did Yoga on her own in the morning.  Yoga Instructor, Maria Kita, was kind enough to give Anne Marie written instructions which Anne Marie followed.

There was lots on the program today. Lectures included;

Dr. Drew Casper spoke about the comedic talents of Frand Sinatra.

Next up was Ronald Sparks who spoke about whether or not America is still number one.

In the afternoon, Celebrity Photographer Tim Courtney spoke about  some of the celebrities he has photographed.

Later in the day, there was a birthday party celebrating what would have been Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday.

At noon we had lunch at the Lido Cafe where we each made a salad entree.  Friend Patty and Cruise Director Rick joined us for lunch.

In the afternoon, Anne Marie walked for an hour and also worked on Knitting.  It was a little cooler today and quite windy but Keith was able to play Paddle Tennis for a couple of hours and then he met up with some passengers.

This evening we will be dining at Prego with friends Jim and Judy.

The attire for the evening is Black Tie Optional.

We wanted to share a couple of additional thoughts of the day that Captain Glenn share on the 2012 World Cruise.

TODAY'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY......

Confidence comes not from always being right but not fearing to be wrong.

Always remember you're unique...just like everyone else is.
