BONNY ISLES VOYAGE

Welcome Back To Our Blog.

We are returning to Crystal Serenity for one voyage appropriately called "Bonny Isles".

Keith has a major milestone birthday coming up later in the year and we couldn't find the right cruise over his actual birthday.  Instead, we selected this cruise as it represents our first visit ever to Liverpool, and since Keith is such an avid Beatles fan, we decided this would be the perfect cruise to celebrate his birthday.

Coincidentally the Beatles Celebration Group who we first met and saw perform on World Cruise 2014 and returned for a portion of the  2015 World Cruise will be performing on board our voyage.

Below is our itinerary.  We arrive to London, England on July 23.  After spending two nights in London, we will make our way over to the Dover Port where we will board  Crystal Serenity on July 25.

The itinerary includes visits to some ports we have visited in the past including Guernsey, Waterford, Dublin, and Belfast, along with several first time ports of call visits for us.

TODAY'S THOUGHT OF THE DAY.......

Although we were only in elementary school, and very young lads ourselves, each of us watched the Beatles performance on The Ed Sullivan Show which took place on February 9 of 1964.  Our country needed a lift after the tragedy of November, 1963 when President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated,  and in many ways The Beatles provided it.  We have never forgotten that iconic moment when we first heard The Beatles perform, which in many ways seems like it was only "yesterday"."
